Thailand: August exports up 8.9% y/y, below forecast

Exports rose a smaller-than-expected 8.93% in August from a year earlier, Commerce Ministry data showed on Friday. That compares with a forecast rise of 13.5% in August in a Reuters poll and follows July’s 20.27% increase.
