Vietnam: “Hanoi 2018 – Investment and Development Cooperation” Conference to be held in June
The Hanoitimes – The Hanoi People’s Committee has recently issued Plan No. 118/KH-UBND, on organizing “Hanoi 2018 – Investment and Development Cooperation” Conference.
Under the plan, the conference will take place from 7.30AM to 12.00AM on June 16, 2018 at the National Convention Center (No.1 Thang Long Avenue, Me Tri Ward, Nam Tu Liem District).
It is expected to attract the participation of from 1,200 to 1,500 delegates and about 150 journalists from press agencies.

The conference is a chance for the Capital to meet domestic and foreign investors, enterprises, representatives of embassies, business counseling agencies, associations, Vietnamese and international organizations so as to attract more domestic and foreign investments via introducing potential and changes of investments in Hanoi and other localities in Vietnam.
The event is desired to strengthen the cooperation among localities as well as the socio-economic development of the northern key economic region; effectively carry out the Government’s directions on deploying plans, programs, minutes of cooperation so as to promote the regional development and connection.
At the mean time creating friendly atmosphere and boost cooperation among Hanoi administration, leaders of provinces and cities participating in the conference and investors, enterprises.
Besides taking maximum advantages, potentials and chances of the Capital city and provinces in the region on the principle of harmony of interests, responsibility and equality, exploitation of opportunities and comparative advantages of each locality.
To successfully organize the conference, the Municipal People’s Committee asked the organization of the event to be solemn with clear contents featuring the Capital’s position as well as ensuring saving and efficiency in association with investment, trade and tourism promotion activities.
