Thailand’s TCEB sees potential of MICE industry in Cambodia

Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) is seeking collaboration with Cambodia’s side, saying it sees high potential of MICE Industry in Cambodia after the country’s recovery from the COVID-19 crisis.

The remarks were made by Chiruit Isarangkun Na Ayuthaya, President of TCEB in an interview with reporters of Cambodia’s state-owned news agency, the Agence Kampuchea Presse (AKP) in Bangkok, Thailand last week.

“TCEB is seeking more projects to collaborate with Cambodia after you have shown us great host of SEA Games,” he said. “We see the potential to hold more mega events in Cambodia and help to boost the economy after the recovery from the COVID-19.”

Chiruit Isarangkun Na Ayuthaya recalled projects the TCEB had organised in Cambodia, including a mega concert in Siem Reap province.
