Speed International Transport Lao Co., Ltd. makes fast delivery of fresh fruit from Thailand to China

To comply with the goal of the Party and the State to transform Laos from being landlocked to a central land link, and use the Laos-China railway to achieve maximum efficiency, on April 17, 2023, Speed International Transport Lao Co., Ltd. in Laos partnered with Speed Inter Transport Co., Ltd. in Thailand and Guangxi Dongxie Tongyun International Logistics Co., Ltd. in China to transport 23 containers of fresh fruit by rail.

The shipment comprised 22 containers of durian and one container of mangosteen.
The train departed from Laem Chabang railway station on April 16, 2023, at 13:55 and arrived at the station in Nong Khai province, Thailand, on the morning of April 17, 2023, at 4:49am.
After passing inspection by Nong Khai checkpoint officials, the train continued and arrived at the Thabok-Thanaleng checkpoint in Vientiane at 9:23am to enter the transfer point between the Thai railway and the Laos-China railway.
The inspection of goods and tax declaration documents by officers, as well as the unloading and loading of the containers from the Thai railway to the Laos-China railway, was completed at 10:40am.
The Laos-China train left Vientiane Southern Station at 2am on the morning of April 18, heading for Boten Station where it arrived at 8:56am to make the departure notification document and send it to Mohan Station in China at 11am.
After arriving at Mohan, the submission of import documents and payment of import tax took 3-6 hours. The train then continued to Kunming Station as scheduled, arriving on April 19, 2023, at 7am.
The transport of rail freight from the starting point at Laem Chabang Station to the final destination at Kunming Station takes about 65 hours or about two and a half days.
This is a fast means of transport, involving not much capital cost, and ensures that the freshness and deliciousness of fresh food is maintained.
