Malaysian Fashion Entrepreneurs Keen To Tap Brunei Market
Monday, June 20, 2016 – SEVERAL Malaysian fashion entrepreneurs are keen to tap the growing market for Muslim wear in the sultanate.
These entrepreneurs were in Brunei recently to join the Kuala Lumpur International Hijab Fair (KLIHF) 2016 and look for local distributors who can market their products. They’re optimistic of the sultanate’s market potential owing to Bruneians’ strong purchasing power.
Omar Arif, founder of Selangor-based hijab fashion shop Busana Timoer Sdn Bhd, believes his shop’s premium-grade shawls, stoles, scarves, wedding gowns and prayer veils will find a market in Brunei.
