Indonesia: Rupiah Predicted to Keep On Weakening: Analyst

TEMPO.COJakarta – Bina Artha Sekuritas senior analyst Reza Priyambada predicts that Rupiah will continue to weaken caused by the minimum positive sentiment domestically and internationally.

“Rupiah is predicted to move around 13,401 at its peak and 13,319 at its weakest,” said Reza today on Thursday, September 28.

The market, Reza observed, tends to enter safe heaven assets required for their portfolios. They continue to monitor numerous sentiments that can cause Rupiah plunging further down.

EUR growth is still weak following the German presidential election that sparked market goers to take advantage of the EUR currency. The weakening of EUR was also caused by an internal conflict in Spain.
