Indonesia: 35 Ferry Ports To Be Built in Southeast Sulawesi

TEMPO.COJakarta – Southeast Sulawesi (Sultra) Provincial Government confirmed that 35 ferry ports will be built to connect a number of islands in the region.

Sultra Transportation Agency head Hado Hasina in Kendari on Saturday (9/9) said that the construction of the 35 ports has been included in the master plan of Transportation Ministry and the ports will soon be built.

He continued that 18 ferry ports have been built to connect a number of islands in Southeast Sulawesi.

“According to Transportation Ministry master plan, there are thirty five locations of ferry ports that have to be built soon, and up to this point eighteen ports have been completed,” Hado Hasina said.
