Ministry of Commerce kicks off Cambodian products at boat race event

While Pursat hosted a boat race event, the Ministry of Commerce took the opportunity to hold an exhibition promoting Khmer products.

Seang Thai, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce, and Pov Piseth, Deputy Governor of Pursat, inaugurated the exhibition, held to promote Khmer products, on October 16. The exhibition was organized by the General Department of Trade Promotion of the Ministry of Commerce.

The ceremony was also attended by government officials, local authorities around the province, officials of the Department of Halal Affairs and more.

The General Department of Consumer Protection Competition and Fraud Repression Directorate-General (CCF) promoted its role and responsibilities.

The Department of Halal Affairs exhibited the activities of the Committee for the Inspection of Halal Products of Cambodia. During the exhibition, certified halal products were also displayed in order to promote and raise awareness.
