Ezecom, a 100% Khmer company, is marking almost a decade and a half of its mission to provide world-class services and digital experience based on the needs of the Cambodian people.

Ezecom was officially registered in 2008 with a robust and bold background by putting the Cambodian ICT sector on the global map by being the only owner of the Khmer owned Malaysia-Cambodia-Thailand sub-marine cable network and holding shares in the Asian American Gateway. With that, Ezecom became a pioneer in the digitization of Cambodia’s economy, leading to improved services and reduced prices for Cambodia’s millions of internet users. Such deals have also helped Cambodia become an attractive business hub for overseas customers.

Such deals include bringing the world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform, Amazon Web Services (AWS), to Cambodia for the benefit of Ezecom clients. The recent innovative deals have included introducing software-defined infrastructure from VMware SD Wan to the country to allow companies to increase efficiencies, scale faster, streamline management, improve application performance, and keep data, users, and devices more secure.

In 2021 Ezecom signed an agreement with the Credit Guarantee and Investment Facility (“CGIF”), a credit guarantee agency established by the Asian Development Bank and ASEAN+3 members, including Japan, South Korea, and China. CGIF will provide a credit guarantee covering the total amount of a $20m bond issued in Q3 by the company.
Ezecom will use the bond proceeds to further invest in the digital ecosystem and provide an excellent digital experience to Cambodians.
