Cambodia – TADA: Free service to help business keep delivering
Cambodia’s fastest-growing ride-hailing app is stepping up to help businesses stay connected to their customers by offering its ‘final mile’ delivery solution – that businesses can use to serve their customers wherever they are in Phnom Penh.
Launched this week the offer provides businesses a free month of TADA’s delivery service after sign up by simply sending a message to the company Facebook page or by contacting TADA directly.
TADA Delivery uses an online platform – the first of its kind in Cambodia – that allows businesses to book and track deliveries to their customers, as well as, manage payments collected by their drivers on the same app using cash or digital payments.
Sreymom Phea of fitness equipment store Lifeshion Sports Shop said, “With more people staying at home during this current crisis, we were seeing a decline in the number of people visiting our store. We have partnered with TADA Delivery so we can stay connected with our customers and keep our promises to deliver to them quickly and efficiently.”
The service is also designed to assist delivery drivers who are considered “the backbone” of TADA Delivery.
“There has been a real drop in the numbers of passengers booking through any of the ride-hailing apps so this new service will be a big help for drivers to continue working, even in these difficult times. Without the service, our life would be very hard,” according to local tuk-tuk driver Phally Hae.
“TADA is already extremely popular with drivers as the company takes no commission from them for rides booked through the TADA app,” he added.
Poly Chim, General Manager of TADA said, “With this initiative, TADA is providing much-needed support to our drivers and local businesses who have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and don’t have their delivery system. We hope that this one-month pilot program will help businesses in keeping their business running and staying in touch with customers.”
“Supporting our drivers, supporting local businesses and supporting the government in their effort to return the country to a normal life are all very important for TADA. We will continue to roll out new initiatives to make an effort on our vision of being a part of the fabric of Cambodian society for years to come,” added Poly Chim.
TADA had been planning to launch the delivery service in the coming months but has stated that the COVID-19 pandemic has driven them to speed up their plans to meet the growing needs of businesses in Phnom Penh.
