ASEAN’s largest building technology exposition

Architect Expo 2017 is the 31st building technology exposition and believed to be ASEAN’s largest fair of its kind.

This time, with the theme “Baan Baan: Reconsidering Dwelling”, it aims to spread knowledge and display the latest innovations in the building and construction industry.

The exposition takes place 2-7 May 2017, 10.00-20.00 hrs., at Challenger Hall 1-3, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani.

The objective of Architect Expo 2017 is not only update architects and those in related fields but also educating the general public on all the angles in home design, along with the latest innovations created by leading local architects whose output is world class.

The exhibition of the Association of Siamese Architects under Royal Patronage is divided into three major sections: Dwellings, Dwelling Elements, and Dwelling Surroundings. An activities and recreation section will showcase urban public areas where people can gather together to chat and relax. ASA Forum 2017 is offered as a parallel academic seminar program featuring famous local and international designer and architect speakers.

Since its inception, Architect Expo 2017 has gained trust from Thai and foreign exhibitors alike. The upcoming event has already attracted interest from both previous and new exhibitors who have already confirmed their participation. These include exhibitors from China, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, India, Australia, Cambodia, Germany, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Czech Republic, and elsewhere. Altogether the organiser expects to welcome around 400,000 visitors, a 15% increase over last year’s show.

Visitors to Architect Expo 2017 will find a fully-integrated architectural design and building materials technology exposition reflecting all of ASEAN. The show will cover over 75,000 sqm of space and feature over 100,000 innovative products and services. Over 850 leading exhibitors will be there, including: K-Decor – a Korea-based company with various types of building materials; SCG – Thailand’s largest industrial conglomerate; and Greenlam – an environment-friendly manufacturer of imitation wood doors.

Architect Expo 2017 will also feature interesting activity zones, including a display of green building materials aimed at encouraging consumers to select environment-friendly products. There will also be booth and innovative product contests, so encouraging exhibitors to present their innovative products in eye-catching ways. The Builder Jobs zone, meanwhile, connects employers and prospective employees.
