Cambodia: Domestic tourism down during first half of the year

The Minister of Tourism, Thong Khon, reported that the number of domestic tourists in the first half of the year.

He reported this at a video meeting on the implementation of tourism safety measures, online training, and the development of new tourism economic avenues that was held on June 30.

There were more than 2 million domestic tourists, during the first half of the year. This is 62.45 percent lower than the number of domestic tourists during the same time last year.

It was reported that after the lockdown on April, the numbers of tourists began to plummet.
