Brunei: Limited cross-border delivery services to be allowed daily

Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah said that at the moment, there will be no quota limitation on the number of transport operators or runners allowed to cross the border daily.

This was said during a press conference at Al-‘Afiah Hall at the Ministry of Health yesterday.
“At the moment we only allow those who are registered as companies to cross the border.
“Individual runners are not allowed to operate at present to help us monitor the activity better,” said the minister.

The minister said 25 runners are registered under companies. They will be allocated time to make deliveries and are not allowed to operate at the same time.
