Indonesia: AP I Opens Taxi Auction at Ahmad Yani Airport in August
TEMPO.CO, Semarang – Marketing and Service Director of PT Angkasa Pura or AP I Ahmad Yani Airport Semarang, Devy Suradji said the opening of an auction of transportation from Ahmad Yani International Airport will be held in August. Devy said, the service of taxis with taximeter that still temporary will continue to be improved. If the auction is already underway, she predicts at the end of the year coincides with the completion of the airport construction.

Because the passengers from Ahmad Yani are not only the Semarang residents but the surrounding cities. Use taximeter or Trans Bus if the destination is near. If the destination is far and wants to go straight, use the taxi zone, if you want to travel you can use the rent one that can stop by,” said Devy.
The continuous transportation auction process, continued Devy, will be conducted open based on needs. The bidders must fight to present the best for the needs of the community.
“It’s a taxi, not just a brand, it must bring availability, quality, and security, and must be able to calculate everything. The auction process is also not short. There must be the participation documents such as permits and so on. The airport is not just a target for tourism, but also to the wheels of the economy,” he said.
Devy said the integrated transportation plan at Ahmad Yani Airport has actually been compiled before the complaint from Nathalie surfaced. However, the airport is operated before the entire construction is 100 percent.
She hopes the public to tolerate the condition. Along with the improvement of the transportation system plan, its development will also be continued according to the target for service optimization.
“We will build integrated transportation in Ahmad Yani. Not only to build an airport, but also a destination.
