Muara Port can be gateway to BIMP-EAGA

Tuesday, August 2, 2016 – MUARA Port should be promoted as a gateway into BIMP-EAGA by whomever is going to take over operations in the coming future, said the president of the Brunei Freight Forwarders Association (BRUFA)

“What I can see immediately is BIMP-EAGA, or the (ASEAN) West Economic Corridor. We should promote ourselves as part of this sub-region, be able to bring things into the country and distribute to BIMP-EAGA region,” BRUFA President Thomas Koh said.

He said there should be policies to encourage trans-shipment and smoother flow of logistics in and out of the container port. Read More?
