Cambodia: The CDC approves investment projects worth $13.9 Million

The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has approved four investment projects with a combined capital investment valued at $13.9 million and expected to create 3,315 jobs.

It stated that the four projects focused on garment production and packing materials with factories located in Phnom Penh, Kampong Speu and Tbong Khmum province.

Earlier this month the CDC approved a further 15 investment projects totalling $526 million in capital investment and more than 8,500 jobs expected jobs.

In 2019, Cambodia exported $14.53 billion and imported $22.19 billion worth of goods, a year-on-year increase of 12.7 percent and 18.6 percent respectively, according to official reports.
