Cambodia: Phnom Penh and three other provinces see new investment projects flow in
New investment projects were approved in Phnom and three other provinces.
This was announced by the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) on February 17. The CDC announced that it had approved six new projects. The investment projects have a total capital of about $ 67 million.
According to the Council for the Development of Cambodia, at the request of the company for investment, the Cambodian Investment Committee of the Council for the Development of Cambodia has decided to issue investment project registration certificates to the following companies:
MEKO INTELLIGENT (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD: The project will establish a factory to assemble light bulbs, electronics and all kinds of electronic parts. The factory will be in Va Vao Village, Samrong District, Takeo. This project has an investment capital of approximately $32 million and is expected to create 1,828 jobs.
KHALANDALE CO., LTD: This project will see the construction of a supermarket located at Lot Mx04 (CBD6), Boeung Kak Lake, Village 1, Sangkat Srah Chak, Khan Daun Penh, Phnom Penh and has an investment capital of $10 million. It is expected to create 668 jobs.
K (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD: This project will see the construction of an ISUZU car assembly plant, which will be located at Trapeang Kong Commune, Samrong Tong District, Kampong Speu. The project has an investment capital of $7.3 million and will create 166 jobs.
BECIS (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD: The project will establish a factory to supply beer and beverage factory with steam and hot air located Boang Angkanh Village, Sangkat Prek Eang, Khan Chbar Ampov, Phnom Penh. It has an investment capital of about $ 6.7 million and will create 82 jobs.
CAMBODIAN PAW SHIELD CO., LTD: This project will establish a pet food factory located at # I-4A-12, Prek Sangke Village, Teuk Thla Commune, Prey Nob District, Preah Sihanouk with an investment capital of approximately $5.5 million and can create 495 jobs.
X.Y.H. (CAMBODIA) GARMENT CO., LTD: This project will see the construction of a garment factory in in Santepheap Village, Tang Krouch Commune, Samrong Tong District, Kampong Speu with an investment capital of $5.4 million and can create 2,789 jobs.
