Cambodia: Logistics and Multi-purpose Port Development Project endorsed by CDC
A logistics and multi-purpose port development project has gotten green light from the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC).
With an investment capital of $1.3 billion, the project is invested by Kampot Logistics and Port Company Limited, said a press release of CDC made public January 17.
The project, located in Changhaon Village, Sangkat Preak Tnaot, Bokor City, Kampot, is expected to create 590 jobs for the locals, it added.
Such investment demonstrates confidence of investors in Cambodia’s macroeconomic, political and social stability as the country is recovering from the Covid-19 pandemic. AKP-Phal Sophanith
