ADB: Rising commodity prices to boost CPI

Thursday, July 21, 2016 – THE continued drop in Brunei?s consumer price index (CPI) is expected to slow down as rising commodity prices gave a slight boost in regional inflation, according to a recent update from the Asian Development Bank (ADB). According to statistics from the Department of Economic Development and Planning (JKPE), Brunei?s CPI had decreased by 0.4 per cent in 2015 and has dropped further by 0.5 per cent as of May 2016. Read More?
