Brunei: Dialogue Session on Tax Amendment
The Amendment of import tax rate and excise duties which has been enforced since the 1st of April was further explained last night during a Dialogue session. The session was attended by 50 individuals from government agencies and local entrepreneurs. The dialogue session provided an opportunity for the business community to raise questions and share their views.
The briefing was delivered by officers from the Royal Customs and Excise Department, Land Transport Department, Quality Control and Food Security section at the Ministry of Health, Department of Economic and Planning Development, and the Department of Environment, Parks and Recreations, JASTRe. Present was Javed Ahmad, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Darussalam Enterprise, DARE.
