AEON Mall is now operating two malls in Phnom Penh and has unveiled plan to build a third one in the southeast of the Capital.
To kick off the initial launch of the partnership, 1,000 vouchers of $5 will be given away, allowing customers to experience with WingPay at nearly 30 shopping outlets at Aeon 1 and 2 from food and beverage to electronic stores.
Manu Rajan, Chief Executive Officer of Wing, said the MoU is aiming to create a convenient physical cashless experience for Cambodian people.
“QR payments are becoming increasingly popular around the world due to their ease and contactless security, with this partnership we believe this partnership will give everyone more freedom and better service,” he said adding that it is also important during Covid-19 the pandemic spread to avoid direct contact with a large amount of cash notes that have been transferred from person to another.
