Monday, August 1, 2016 – LOCAL entrepreneurs need to network overseas to strengthen their market share against international competitors, said a senior business consultant and coordinator for UK and Australian businesses in the Southeast Asia. According to Max SC Lee, director of Asia development at the London-based International Alliance of Entrepreneurs (IAE), most small and medium enterprises lack the financial resources to sustain their business in the long run when international competitors start taking over their market. ?If you stay stagnant in Brunei, it?s going to be harder for you to sustain your business because international competitors are well established and they have big capital to survive for a long period of time,? he said in a recent interview with The Brunei Times.
