Vietnam: Da Nang aims to build three more industrial parks
The People’s Committee of Da Nang City has asked for the Prime Minister’s approval for the construction of three new industrial parks at a cost of more than VND15,000 billion (over $652 million).
Pham Truong Son, Head of the Management Board of Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and Industrial Parks, told VietNamNet that the three new industrial park projects include the Hoa Ninh Industrial Park in Hoa Ninh commune, Hoa Vang district, with an area of more than 400 hectares and estimated investment capital of nearly VND6,800 billion.
The second project is Hoa Nhon Industrial Park in Hoa Nhon commune, Hoa Vang district, covering more than 360 hectares, with total investment of over VND6,800 billion.
The third project is the Hoa Cam Industrial Park – phase 2 in Hoa Tho Tay ward, Cam Le district and Hoa Nhon commune, Hoa Vang district, with an area of over 120 hectares, and total investment capital of over VND2,200 billion.
If the three projects are approved, Da Nang will have nine industrial zones.
The city currently has six industrial parks: Da Nang Industrial Park, Hoa Khanh Industrial Park, Expanded Hoa Khanh Industrial Park, Lien Chieu Industrial Park, Hoa Cam Industrial Park and Da Nang Fisheries Service Area with a total area of more than 1,160ha.
