Myanmar, Indian universities to ink MOUs for cooperation
The universities of Myanmar and India have plans to sign MOUs for cooperation in the education sector, Professor Dr Thida Win from Mandalay University said.
Speaking at a talk by Indian Ambassador Vikram Misri on India’s Foreign Policy and Developments in India-Myanmar Relations that was held at the Mandalay University on May 19, she also thanked the Indian government for helping facilitate local MBA and Political Science students to make study tours in India.
“We have signed MOUs with international universities. We are going to sign an MOU with Indian universities.
“We have a plan to sign one with the Jawaharlal Nehru University,” said Professor Dr Thida Win.
The Indian Ambassador said that participation in the Myanmar education sector would be promoted in his country and explained the importance of India-Myanmar relations and touched on the current projects being carried out by
India in Myanmar.
