Entrepreneurship Ratio in Indonesia Reaches 3.01 Percent
TEMPO.CO, Solo – The ratio of entrepreneurship in Indonesia currently reaches 3.01 percent,Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (UKM) Minister Anak Agung Gede Ngurah Puspayoga stated in Solo.
“The figure of the ratio is higher compared to that of 2014 or before President is in office, which was 1.55 percent,” he said in di Solo on Saturday (22/10).
He added that the realization of entrepreneurship ratio in Indonesia is much higher than ratio standard in international level, which is 2 percent.
Furthermore, he said that the government aims to reach 4 percent by the end of this year.
Meanwhile, he continued, government needs to actively develop local economy by providing training to the people, boosting production of Small and Medium Enterprises (UKM), and providing People’s Business Credit (KUR) with low interest rate.
In terms of marketing, he urges small and medium entrepreneurs to increase online sales and balance it with offline sales.
