Cambodia rubber exports Jan-June reach 132,000 tonnes

Cambodia exported 132,174 tons of rubber between January and June year, a 5.7 percent increase over the same period last year.

According to figures from the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry,and Fisheries, the average price of rubber during the period was $1,677 per tonnes.  This was up 28.7 percent over the average price of the same period in 2020

Total rubber export revenue was in the amount of $222 million for the period.

The rubber harvest yield came 292,500 hectares of the 404,160 hectares under cultivation across the country.

Vietnam, followed by Malaysia are the primary destinations for Cambodian rubber.
