ALRO is bracing to reclaim Sor Por Kor land from illegal owners
WEDNESDAY, 6 JULY 2016 – The Agricultural Land Reform Office (ALRO) is make preparations to reclaim the Sor Por Kor land from illegal owners or occupants now that the National Council for Peace and Order has recently issued 13 directives to solve the problem of illegal occupation of the Sor Por Kor land.
Under the NCPO order, three groups of Sor Por Kor land occupation are targeted to be reclaimed. These include land plots exceeding 500 rai each which have not been incorporated into the land reform scheme; Sor Por Kor land plots of over 100 rai each which are occupied by people other than the farmers who were granted the land for agriculture; and land plots of over 500 rai each which were ordered to be returned to ALRO by the court.
