Malaysia: emerging peanut market for Cambodia

Malaysia is emerging as a new market for Cambodian peanut exports, according to a report of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.

During the first four months of 2020, continued the source, Cambodia exported 32.64 tons of peanut to Malaysia.

Peanuts are one of the plants included in Cambodia’s list of exported goods to international markets.

So far, peanut has been grown for domestic supply, and for some minor trading with neighbouring countries including Vietnam and Thailand. AKP
