MALAYSIA-listed Ariantec Sdn Bhd’s (Ariantec) international affiliate payment solution provider PayAllz International has reached an agreement with locally owned Hello Digital to provide electronic payment products and services into Cambodia.

According to the company’s filing to Bursa Malaysia Stock Exchange on Tuesday, Ariantec, a wholly owned subsidiary of Netx Holdings Berhad, will be offering fintech for mobile payment, e-wallet and loyalty program solutions.

The partnership will see Hello Digital including PayAllZ solutions to their portfolio of products.

“The current market in Cambodia currently lacks a KyC (Know Your Customer) service, thus allowing the adaptation of this market to the latest technology platform,” Alvin Ng, General Manager of PayAllZ was quoted as saying in Malaysian online news.

“There is a huge demand in the market to understand, and know their target markets better. This in turn builds better services, for more targeted results and service-oriented provisions.”

He said that AllZ mPOS is the company’s EMV Chip & PCI-compliant terminal that takes card payments to the next level for the growing a business.

AllZ+ feeds accurate insights into a business and card payment transactions with real-time information via a mobile application and/or web portal, while AllZ 360 ° is an easy-to-use, end-to-end tool that allows merchants to build rewards and loyalty programs for its customers, he said.

AllZ 360° solution also opens up a new world of creative marketing opportunities for merchants to validate and reward customers for in-store loyalty with a web portal linked to smartphones and tablets.

Steve Tan, executive director of NetX Holdings Berhad was quoted in the media as saying that Cambodia’s population demographics as the 69th most populous country in the world suits their company’s requirements.

“Our target was always fast-growing countries and we believe that Cambodia is poised to leap-frog us in terms of technology adoption.

Effective today, our system will be applied throughout Cambodia, with a focus on Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, to start,” Mr. Tan said.

According to the data from Ministry of Post and Telecom, ending December last year, the government had licensed 113 telecom operators, of which 80 are operating.
