Dollar Rate Against Myanmar Kyat Stronger

Dollar Rate against Myanmar Kyat, which has been weak since earlier this year, bounced back to nearly K1,400 per dollar today.

On July 17, greenback against Myanmar Kyat was around K1,376 per dollar on buying price and K1,383 per dollar on selling price compared to K1,385 in buying rate and K1,397 in selling rate on July 21.

Central Bank of Myanmar has purchased a total of $169.6 million from the market as of today since January 2 this year.

In the local gold market, a tical of 24K gold is traded around K1.264 million.
