Expanded Brunei-Korea trade to help diversify local economy
Saturday, July 23, 2016 – BILATERAL trade between Brunei and South Korea can be expanded to include high value products such as technology and cosmetics to help the sultanate diversify its economy.
In an interview, Kim Young-sun (pic), secretary general of the ASEAN-Korea Centre, said while both countries have enjoyed strong trade relations through the oil and gas sector, the time is ripe to explore other avenues for economic cooperation.
?After discussions with Brunei officials, both sides agree that there is potential for cooperation in the areas of ICT, cosmetics, biotechnology and e-commerce,? he said. Read More?
